As we get ready for the premiere of Children of Nature: Know your Status with Pride! Poplar Institute would like to highlight the animator behind the animated short. Courtney Carter is a St. Louis, MO native who has his bachelor’s degree in animation from Webster University. Animation has always been a passion for Courtney, and like many children, he enjoyed watching cartoons but was fascinated by watching the creation of his favorite cartoons.

On top of Courtney’s creation of Children of Nature, he also has another animated short he would love to get further noticed called "Fancy Cat".
