LOVE THY NEIGHBOR
About LTN
The death of a Baptist family’s matriarch leaves a college musician and his pastoral father stricken with grief and guilt. Seeking escape, the son (Timothy) covertly turns to sex and drugs with a seductive rap producer. Meanwhile, the father (Rory) buries his pain in pastoral duties. With an old, dwindling congregation, extremely low funds threaten to kill his beloved church. The more reckless Timothy becomes, the more impossible it is to conceal his deviancy, threatening his relationship with his father and the future of their church.

A STL Film
This is through and through a 314 production. While Love Thy Neighbor is a character focused piece, the St. Louis backdrop will play a major role in the personality of the film. Taking place primarily in locations of North county, this movie will also showcase visual commentary on the effects of White flight and divestment of resources in neighborhoods that once flourished as a haven for Black residents. Many of the characters' choices and circumstances reflect a reality of ever growing poverty eating into the middle class. This being a result of legal policies and economic decisions rooted in racism .
